[ Weirdly, as a child of the early 2000's and 90's, she's eased into texting as a form of communication. It helps that she doesn't want to confront Connor in person just yet, or let on that she's beginning to cry as she types out her message. If she calls, the emotions may overwhelm her. And she can't have that. She has another call to make. ]

I know I owe you an apology but can we skip it just for now, I need to figure out somewhere else to stay and you're the person I know the best who's been here the longest. I can't move alone right now, and I can't explain why. Is anybody looking for somebody to join them? I don't know for how long, but I won't overstay my welcome.
